All About Leaders On 17th birthday, he received Adventure Mountaineering certificate from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and year later pursued career in Bhutan Tourism. Due to his ardent enthusiasm in adventure Tourism, he took off more then three and half years from his college time. Few years later, he completed University and went on to work as a public servant, further traveling far and wide into villages, and communities, he had not been before. It was always an adventure, and his interest and understanding for needy communities grew further. He later went on to complete Master from a Scandinavian University. In later years, for his experiences and leadership, he was contracted as an Outdoor Adventure Director by one of the premier summer camp in US. There, he organized many treks, camping and canoeing trips in wilderness. Through consistent, “Work Experience” and “University Education” in West, he had learned; good working culture, quality services, and high level of adventurism, come only with outmost dedication, and hard work. His career in travel and tourism created vast reserve of knowledge that provoked undying interest about his own community and adventurism. Now, he wants to blend local knowledge with international experience to promote Adventure Tourism in internationally acclaimed “Global Hotspot” Bhutan; the Kingdom of living happiness. He has innovated and packaged trips that are unique to Bhutan and AHKE Adventure Travel.
